Internationally recognized Afrobeat singer, Davido has officially submitted a collection of his exceptional musical masterpieces for consideration at the prestigious 2024 Grammy Awards.
Joey Akan, a music enthusiast and popular podcaster, published the details on X, putting light on the different categories in which Davido’s work is in contention.
“Timeless,” Davido’s critically praised record, is taking centre stage in this Grammy campaign, with submissions in many categories.
According to Akan, the record is up for the coveted “Album of the Year” and “Best Global Music Album” awards.
One of the standout tracks from the album, “Feel,” is also being submitted for consideration in the “Best Global Music Performance” category.
Additionally, Davido’s chart-topping hit, “Unavailable,” is being submitted in three key categories.
The song has been put forth for consideration in the “Song of the Year,” “African Music Performance,” and “Record of the Year” categories.
