Female Afrobeat sensation, Ayra Starr pauses to count her blessings as she remembers her humble beginnings and how, six years ago, she used to sing while helping her grandmother sell produce.
The brilliant performer, who is signed to Mavin Records, recounted her experience on Instagram and thanked God deeply for her journey thus far.
She admitted that she frequently sang to anyone who would listen while working in the market with her grandmother.
She continued to brag about how many people currently pay to see her sing music live on stage.

6 years ago this used to be me selling 3 vegetables and fruits with my grandma, singing to whoever wanted to hear me. Now I people are paying to watch me perform”
