Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), will hold a press briefing today, Oct 4th

This is to intimate the world on his findings around President Bola Tinubu’s academic records released by the Chicago State University.

The press conference is scheduled to be held at the Yar’Adua Centre at 3 pm, according to fresh details by Abdul Rasheeth, Atiku’s Special Adviser on Media.

The aide wrote on social media:

”H.E Atiku Abubakar will be holding a World Press Conference today, Thursday, October 5th, to discuss the fake certificate Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu submitted to @INECNigeria for the 2023 presidential elections.

The Chicago State University, in a sworn deposition, has disowned the certificate,

stating that the certificate was forged and did not emanate from the university.
Time: 3 pm
Venue: Yar’adua center”

Recall that Atiku had secured the release of Tinubu’s academic records through a court order to CSU.
The released records, which came first on October 2 and a deposition on Tuesday, showed that Tinubu’s 1979 CSU certificate he submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) was different from samples of the certificates the University issued to students that same year.
Also, Under oath, the CSU Registrar said he could not authenticate the certificate Tinubu presented to INEC.
The former Vice President has since kept mum after the release of the documents.
