The Nigerian Senate has begun the screening of the three ministerial nominees of the President today, 4th October 2023.

The nominees to be screened are Balarabe Abbas Lawal from Kaduna State, Dr Jamila Bio Ibrahim from Kwara State and Ayodele Olawande from Ondo State.

The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, on Tuesday, read a letter from President Tinubu requesting the confirmation of three additional ministerial nominees.

This is in addition to the 45 nominations made by the president in August and confirmed by the Nigerian Senate.
