Awaiting the Judgement of the Lagos Governorship Election Petition Tribunal judgement, the deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, is present in Court. 
Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, representing the Labour Party (LP), and Azeez Olajide, popularly known as Jandor, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), filed petitions challenging the legitimacy of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s election.
The members of the tribunal who will give the verdict are Justice Arum Igyen Ashom, Justice Mikhail Abdullahi, and Justice I.P. Braimoh
