The public relations officer of the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, has announced that Mohbad’s body has successfully been exhumed.

The public has already expressed excitement at the announcement, seeing it as a step towards bringing Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, aka Mohbad, justice.

The police officers pulled up to the burial site to take the coffin from the grave after dismantling it, as shown in multiple videos that spectators recorded on social media. The empty grave and the celebration that followed are seen in the video evidence.

Following his death, angry Nigerians demanded justice for the musician and demanded an autopsy and a probe into his death.

Soon after Mohbad’s death, the Nigerian police sprang into action and opened an inquiry.

The singer’s team also arranged a candlelight procession and tribute concert, which is scheduled to hold at 5pm today September 21, 2023.
