The Nigerian Police Force has debunked the viral report of an arrest of the famous singer, Naira Marley and socialite, Sam Larry over the death of Mohbad.
This occurs in the midst of the singer’s fans’ unwavering support for the pursuit of justice concerning the 27-year-old singer’s homicide case.
Sam Larry and Naira Marley have not been detained, claims Oluniyi Ogundeyi, the FCID (Force Criminal Investigation Department) spokesperson for Zone 2 in Alagbon, Lagos.
Contrary to rumours, they were not detained in connection with the passing of Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad, the late singer.
“The report is false; it is a lie; no one has been arrested. The police did not arrest Naira Marley or Sam Larry,” Ogundeyi told Punch on Thursday night.
