The political rift between Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu and his principal Godwin Obaseki may not be seeing an end soon.

While Philip Shaibu had withdrew the case filed against the governor and the state house of assembly over impeachment speculations, things don’t seem so well for the duo.

Philip Shaibu has relocated his office to a new location outside the Government House.

cypberreporters reports  that the new office is situated at No. 7, Dennis Osadebey Avenue, close to the Government House.

This is following a mild drama in government where the media team of the deputy Governor was bared from entering an event with him.

The Innuendo led to the total disbandment of the media team attached to the deputy Governor.

The reason for the deputy Governor’s sudden relocation is not yet known.

According to sources, the deputy governor says the new office has not been completely renovated.

recall that Shuaibu had filed a suit, alleging that Obaseki was planning to remove him from office by impeaching him. The suit was withdrawn on September 7, 2023.
