Actress Moyo Lawal Threatens Legal Action Following Leaked Tape

Popular Nollywood actress, Moyo Lawal has reacted to the leaked tape of her and an unnamed lover that went viral on Saturday.

Lawal complained on her Instagram page that the public distribution of the footage had violated her trust and privacy.

Actress Moyo Lawal Threatens Legal Action Following Leaked Tape

She acknowledged that the film was shot with her ex-lover, whom she had intended to wed, and that it was never intended for public viewing.

The stunning actress, though, vowed to sue to prevent the video’s authorised distribution.

Despite the sad event, Lawal remarked that she would not let it crush her spirit and cited the years that she had been celibate as evidence.

She said: “A private video of mine from a while ago has been inappropriately shared without my consent, violating my privacy and trust.”

“I want to emphasize that this video done with my ex I was to marry at that time was never intended for public consumption and its unauthorized distribution is a branch of my personal boundaries. However, this criminal breach of privacy will be treated with legal action.”
