Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has requested an apology from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) before he obliges to work in the party’s campaign council.

Wike in his resolution declared that the PDP has to realize its past mistakes which led to thier loss in the just concluded presidential elections.

This was in response to his inclusion in the Party’s election campaign council for the Bayelsa State Governorship elections.

In an interview with ChannelsTV’s Politics Today, Wike said the PDP should have sought his approval before including his name on the list.

Wike asked his party leadership to beg for him and the “G5 Governors” before agreeing to join the campaign train.

He said: “The PDP has to apologise to me and some of my colleagues before I can work with them in the Bayelsa elections.

“I left my state very elated, very happy, like a hero. I worked in favour of justice, working in favour of equity and fairness.

“You can’t enrol me into any team. Whatever I will do, I will do. If I want to enter APC today, I will talk to my people,” the former Rivers governor said.
