Nigerian music legend, Innocent Ujah Idibia, aka 2Baba, has reacted to Nigerians who are being overly concerned about his family.
The Singer stated that in as much as he pretends to have grown a thick skin to Nigerians’ criticisms of his family over the years, he still gets hurt sometimes.
Recall that the singers marriage has been trailed by scandals in recent years with Annie accusing the 2Baba’s first baby mama, Pero Adeniyi of still having a secret affair with him.
Also there have been rumours of the singer impregnating another woman and being a deadbeat dad to some of his children.
However, 2Baba has since debunked all the rumours.
The father of seven lamented that Nigerians who insinuated he is a deadbeat dad to his children have never volunteered to pay the school fees of any of them.
2Baba stated this while appearing in the latest episode of the Afrobeats podcast hosted by British-Nigerian media personality, Adesope Olajide.
He said: “Many people talk about kids, fatherhood, motherhood, all that whole circle. Many people talk about it with public opinion type of thinking. But it’s deeper than that. There’s nobody that has the exact blueprint for this thing.
The basic truth of the whole matter is the connection with you and your little ones [children]. There is so many different ways to find it. There’s no one rule or one particular way.
“ I got a lot of people that say stuff about me. People have trolled me severally on social media. And, sometimes it hurts. Sometimes some people will just go on social media to say rubbish. It’s just like terrorists bombing innocent people.
