The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has called on President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to openly declare his assets publicly.
SERAP via a social media post urged the President Tinubu on Thursday, August 24 called on the president to follow the suite of the former President, Late Musa Yar’adua.
It also asked Tinubu to publish his asset declaration promptly and encourage his deputy, Kashim Shettima to follow suit.
SERAP also asked the President to compel his Ministers to do the same in the interest of Nigerians and Nigeria.
SERAP’s tweet read:
“We’re again calling on President Tinubu to emulate the good example of former President Yar’Adua by promptly publishing his asset declaration and encouraging his Vice-President and ministers to follow suit.
“This would serve the public interest.”
