Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Burna Boy has responded to reports that claim his networth is $22 million.
When asked about his net worth, the musician who was a celebrity guest on Complex said that a fast Google search puts it at $22 million. He chuckled heartily for a moment after learning the projected amount before saying he didn’t want to discuss it.
Further questioned, he responded, “I prefer them to think that, I like that, but they’re way off.”
Burna referred to it as a blessing and took great satisfaction in being able to support his family. In reference to his upcoming record, he said that he had always planned to purchase his mother a house.
The Afrobeat singer said: “It’s great man, it’s a blessing. It’s nothing short of a blessing. I always told my mum while growing up as a kid that I would buy her a house and a car someday. Another ‘I Told Them’ moment.”
He did, however, note that his mother has not yet chosen a house that she wants to live in. According to him, this is because, like him, she is very busy on tour and likes the job more than he does.
