emmetfFormer Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has paid a courtesy visit to the new National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Amid his confirmation as Minister Designate upon his nomination by the President and screening by the Senate, Wike has yet made another controversial move.

The visit was made public via official Twitter handle of the APC. The tweet read:

Former Governor of Rivers State and a Minister-designate, HE. Nyesom Wike, paid a congratulatory visit to the National Chairman, HE. Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje at his residence in Abuja.

The visit to Abdullahi Umar Ganduje by the former Governor has raised a lot of eye brows on social media, with a lot of comments and reactions from Nigerians on social media.

Some speculations say Wike may be defecting officially to the APC soon, given his new capacity to work in the Federal Executive Council of the Tinubu led administration.
