New revelations emerged on why popular Kano Ministerial nominee Maryam Shetty may have been kicked out of Tinubu list in a last minute u-turn made by the President.

The reason why former ministerial nominee of the president was withdrawn has been linked to her political ties and loyalty to former Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo.

Prof. Yemi who has been a long time loyalist and mentee to Bola Ahmed Tinubu triggered some bad blood when he indicated his interest to run for President.

This was greeted by a huge level of hostility from the Tinubu camp who believed his Ambition was sheer betrayal to his former boss.

In the same vein, The President is rumored to have withdrawn the former Nominee, Maryam Shetty’s name from the list of Ministerial nominees as a result of her ardent support for the former vice President and other political rivals of Bola Tinubu, like PDP,s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

In a series of tweets surfacing on social media, Maryam is seen retweeting twitter posts subtly criticizing the president before and after inauguration.

The Kano born Physiotherapist is known to be a staunch supporter of Prof. Yemi as pictures of her joining him for campaigns have emerged .

In a particular tweet which read:

“I have had the tremendous pleasure of accompanying HE @ProfOsinbajo to Edo and Delta States respectively, to talk to the delegates. The Oba of Benin accolades were simply epic and an unblemished truth!

#PYO

#webelieve!”

The last minute decision of the President to retrieve Maryam Shetty from the golden list is apparently not far fetched.
