In a shocking turn of events President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has withdrawn the name of Ministerial nominee, Dr Maryam Shetty from Kano State and also nominated Festus Kenyamo.
Tinubu has replaced the name with another nominee from the State, Mariya Mahmud.
Also, the President has forwarded the name of former Minister and spokesman in the Presidential Campaign council Festus Kenyamo to the Senate as a nominee.
Shetty’s nomination was however struck with tons of reactions from Nigerians via social media.
Festus also took to social media to express his joy over his sudden nomination at the last minute.
He wrote on his official Twitter handle, “he’s a miracle working God”
