Former Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje has emerged as National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress. 
Ganduje who was rumored to be the anointed candidate by the President for the office was elected today, 03 August.
In the same vein, Sen. Ajibola Basiru has emerged as the National secretary of the party.
The former Governor held his first meeting at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja.
This had members of the party’s national executive council and national working committee in attendance.
This was revealed via the official Twitter handle of the party.
