Popular Businesswoman, May has filed for divorce from her husband, actor Yul Edochie, with whom she has three children.
May, represented by Femi Falana and the Eculaw group, is also seeking N100 million in damages from Yul and his second wife, Judy, whom she accuses of infidelity.
The DPA Family Law Clinic, which provided an update on the couple’s marital issue, stated that Judy and Yul are aware of the case and have gotten copies of the complaint papers through email.
It was also claimed that “both Yul and Judy are attempting to avoid service of process upon them.” The court bailiff attempted numerous times to serve them in accordance with court regulations. However, they have avoided the service of the court process. Despite their boldness and social media stunts, Yul Edochie and Judy are facing major legal issues, which they appear unprepared for given their history of dodging service of process.”
May has also requested a court injunction barring Yul from entering their former marital home. The entrepreneur claimed that the actor has been inconsistent, illogical, aggressive, and increasingly menacing, citing safety concerns.
She observed Yul acting as if he is “under some influence, the full extent or scope of which we have yet to determine.”
May, who recalled Yul being barred from entering their home last week by security personnel who informed him that all concerns regarding his marriage to her and dealings in that regard are now under investigation, stated that she had taken the precautionary measure to protect herself and her children.
