Nigerian singer, Inetimi Alfred Odon, Popularly known as Timaya, has asserted that money is no longer the root of all evil.
The musician claims that money, which is widely sought out desperately and unlawfully, is no longer the source of all evil since the need for attention has replaced it.
He stated this via his Twitter handle on Tuesday morning. Timaya wrote: “Money is no longer the root of all evil. Attention is.”
His post elicited huge reactions, with many telling him that money has never been “the root of all evil” but the love of it.
Recall that the singer had revealed he’s been passing through some challenges lately.
The Bayelsa-born singer disclosed this on his Instagram page.
Timaya emphasized that he has been through a lot even though he cannot share details with the public because he’s not the type of man that shares his challenges
Sharing a video of himself singing on Instagram, he wrote, “Been through a lot and back.
“I’m not a man dat spill shit out, but GOD is good.”
