Fenerbahce manager, Jose Mourinho has set his sights on Barcelona forward Ansu Fati, ahead of the January transfer window.

The 21-year-old Spanish international has struggled to secure regular playing time under Hansi Flick this season.

Ansu Fati’s situation at Barcelona is precarious, having returned to the club this summer after a loan stint at Premier League side Brighton.

Once touted as Lionel Messi’s heir apparent, Fati now finds himself on the periphery of Flick’s plans.

Mourinho, known for his tactical acumen and ability to revive careers, believes Fati would thrive at Fenerbahce.

According to Spanish publication AS, Mourinho has expressed interest in Fati and will dispatch sporting director Mario Branco to negotiate with the player’s representatives soon.

Fenerbahce remains optimistic about luring Ansu Fati to Turkey, leveraging the promise of consistent game time.

Ansu Fati’s potential departure would mark a significant shift in his career trajectory.

Once hailed as a prodigious talent, Fati’s development has stalled due to injuries and limited opportunities.

If the transfer materializes, Fati would join a growing list of high-profile players to join the Turkish Super Lig in recent years.
