Nigeria’s Super Eagles have embarked on a journey to Libya for their upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifying match.

The team departed Nigeria on Sunday morning.

The Super Eagles boarded a chartered flight, which made a stopover in Kano before proceeding to Benghazi.

This revised travel plan aimed to reduce travel stress for the players and officials.

Initially, the team was scheduled to land in Tripoli and then undertake a two-hour road trip to Benghazi.

However, the change of plans ensured a more convenient and comfortable journey.

The stage is now set for the crucial encounter between the Super Eagles and Libya’s Mediterranean Knights.

The match will take place at the 10,000-capacity Benina Stadium.

Located just 10 kilometers from Benghazi, the Benina Stadium promises to provide an electrifying atmosphere.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 8 pm Nigerian time on Tuesday.

As the Super Eagles face Libya in this qualifying match, they seek to secure vital points in their quest to participate in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
