England and Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has withdrawn from international duty due to an injury sustained in England’s 2-1 loss to Greece on Thursday.

Saka, 23, who limped off in the second half and was replaced by Noni Madueke would undergo further assessment at Arsenal.

As a result, Saka will miss England’s clash against Finland in Helsinki on Sunday, reducing Gareth Southgate’s squad to 21 players.

The injury is also a concern for Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, who recently lost captain Martin Ødegaard to injury.

Saka has deputized as captain and contributed 10 goals across all competitions this season.

Saka’s absence will be closely monitored by both England and Arsenal, with the Gunners relying on him for crucial matches upcoming.

Arteta will hope for a speedy recovery to ensure Saka’s availability for Arsenal’s next fixtures.
