A tragic incident occurred in Umudosi community, Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State, where a tricycle rider, Amadi Alozie, killed his own mother.

The incident began around 10 p.m. when Alozie’s mother attempted to rescue her grandson from a suspected ritual attack by his father.

Alozie had allegedly severed his son’s private part, causing the boy to scream loudly, which alerted his grandmother to the situation.

In an effort to save her grandson, the mother intervened, but Alozie turned on her, attacking and macheting her to death.

The attack happened so quickly that neighbors were unable to respond in time to save the mother.

However, karma caught up with Alozie as he tried to escape and fell into a pit.

Meanwhile, the injured son is currently battling for survival at an undisclosed hospital, having lost his private part in the brutal attack.
