The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has announced the arrest of 48 suspected internet fraudsters in Umudike, Abia State.

The commission through a post on its official social media handle, disclosed that the suspected internet fraudsters were arrested on Tuesday.

The body equally revealed that operatives from the Uyo Zonal Directorate carried out the arrests at various locations in Umudike, acting on actionable intelligence suggesting the suspects’ involvement in internet fraud.
