TurnTable Charts compiles a list of the top-streamed Nigerian musicians for 2023 and distributes it over social media.

Asake currently leads the list with over 600 million streams across all platforms.

Asake Beats Burna Boy, Davido, Leads TurnTable Charts of Most Streamed Artiste in 2023 Asake rose to celebrity status after releasing his popular song “Omo Ope” in 2022, which brought him enormous commercial success.

Since the release of his sophomore album, Asake has gotten 654 million plays on Apple Music, Boomplay, Spotify, and YouTube; his first album is still being streamed.

Asake’s record-breaking accomplishment is a reflection of the incredible year he had in 2023, which was made possible by the release of his wildly popular sophomore album “Work of Art,” which included the hits “2:30,” “Amapiano,” “Basquiat,” and “Lonely At The Top.”

Seyi Vibez—who has released two albums and two EPs—is rated second on the list gathering 533 million streams.

Grammy nominee Davido, who set records with his fourth album “Timeless,” is ranked third on the list.

While Omah Lay got 301 million views from the deluxe edition of his debut album “Boy Alone,” and comes in at number four, and Burna Boy rounds out the top five with 282 million streams from the release of his Grammy-nominated seventh album “I Told Them.”
