Winner of BBNaija All-stars edition, Ilebaye Odiniya has came out to clear up the idea that her triumph on the show was primarily dependent on getting sympathy votes due to her perceived fragility among other housemates.
In an exclusive interview with Lagos Talks 91.3 radio, the 22-year-old billionaire stated that her success was due to real affection from viewers and great timing.
During her time in the BBNaija All Stars house, some roommates speculated that Ilebaye was receiving compassion and pity votes due to her younger age and lesser stature in comparison to her fellow contestants.
Do you think you were supported because you were fragile while everyone else was older, bigger, and stronger than you?” the radio host asked.
Ilebaye responded; “To me, I feel it’s because they have this love for me; not because I am the underdog. They have this genuine love for me, and they know I should be the one to win the money, and it’s my time.”
