President Bola Tinubu has directed Aliyu Abubakar Aziz, the director-general and chief executive officer (CEO) of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), to commence a 90-day pre-retirement leave.
Duration of the said leave will last from 24th of August to 24 of November 2023.
Also, Tinubu also approved the appointment of Bisoye Coker-Odusote to serve as the acting director-general and CEO of (NIMC).
The said appointment is scheduled to be for a 90 day period before a substantive head of the organization will be appointed on the 24 of November 2023.
Coker-Odusote before his recent appointment was the general manager and CEO of the Lagos State Infrastructure Maintenance and Regulatory Agency (LASIMRA).
