Nigerian comedian and actor, Ayodeji Makun, popularly known as AY, has reacted to the fire incident that engulfed his Lagos home on Sunday.
A viral video posted by social media user @Postsubman shows AY’s house being completely destroyed by fire on Sunday. The story building’s roof was on fire.
Many colleagues and fans of AY, including his younger brother and fashion designer Yomi Casual, sent their condolences to the comedian and his family.
AY took to Instagram to post videos and photographs of his wife and children who are now on holiday abroad, thanking God for their safety.
He wrote: “Family and God. That is what’s important. Everything else comes and goes. Can’t wait to join you guys in the US in a few days.”
The cause of the fire outbreak is still unknown.
