In shocking twist, former President of the Nigerian Bar Association has officially joined the Labour Party. (LP)
Olumide revealed his decision via his official Twitter  handle today, August 1st 2023.

In his words:

Yes…I joined the @labourparty_ng in March this year and on Sunday I attended my first Ward Meeting at Oredo Ward 6, in Benin-City, where I was formally introduced to members of the Ward and presented with my Party membership card.

Olumide who served as the immediate past President of the Nigerian Bar Association. Being the first Non-senior advocate to hold the office from 2020 to 2022.
He also revealed this his decision was born out a zeal to stop complaining and fix things in Nigeria.
it is quite unclear why is he is making this move, but there are strong indications that this may be linked to his possible ambition to run for Governor of Edo State in the forth coming guber elections in the state come 2024.
