Following the nomination of 28 persons who made it to the popular “Tinubu’s Ministerial list” the former Governor of Kaduna State and Ebonyi State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai and Senator David Umahi and 12 other nominees are being screened by the Nigerian Senate today, 1st of August.
This is coming after former Governor of Rivers State, Nysom Wike, current women leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Hon. Betty Edu and 12 other nominees were screened yesterday.
Other nominees include,

Adebayo Olawale Edun (Ogun), Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai (Kaduna); Ahmed Musa Dangiwa (Katsina), Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji (Enugu); Stella Erhuvwuoghene Okotete (Delta), and Dele Alake (Ekiti), Mr. Adekola Adebayo Adelabu (Oyo), Muhammad Idris (Niger); Professor Ali Pate Bauchi; Doris Anite Uzoka (Imo), Lateef Fagbemi (Kwara); Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo Akwa (Ibom); and Barr Hannatu Musawa (Katsina).

It is unclear why former Governor of Ebonyi State will be jostling his Senate seat for a Ministerial offer.
It will be recalled that the President forwarded 28 names of Ministerial nominees for possible confirmation by the Senate.
