Manchester City closed the gap between themselves and Premier League leaders, Arsenal with a 3-0 defeat of Chelsea on Sunday.

Pep Guardiola’s men travelled to Stamford Bridge, knowing their title charge was back on track after the Gunners lost 2-1 to Bournemouth on Saturday.

The result left Mikel Arteta’s men nine points ahead, but City now had two outstanding fixtures.

The first half ended goalless, before City blew Chelsea away after the break.

Nico O’Reilly headed the visitors in front, before Marc Guehi drilled in the second within 10 minutes.

Jeremy Doku pounced on a defensive error to score a third as City cut Arsenal’s lead to six points, with both teams set to face off at the Etihad next Sunday.
