The 2025 Ballon d’Or ceremony is taking place today, September 22, 2025, at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.
The current frontrunners for the men’s award are Ousmane Dembélé, Lamine Yamal, and Mohamed Salah.
Dembélé is considered the favorite after spearheading Paris Saint-Germain to a historic treble, including the UEFA Champions League title, with 35 goals and 16 assists in 58 matches.
Lamine Yamal, at just 18, has been instrumental in Barcelona’s success, scoring 18 goals and adding 25 assists in the 2024/25 season.
The winner will be determined by votes from 100 journalists worldwide, with the ranking based on individual and team performances during the 2024-25 season.
