Niger Tornadoes’ promising youngster, Rickson Mendos, has received an exciting invitation to join the Flying Eagles for the upcoming 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

Cyber Reporters reports that at just 18 years old, Mendos has already been making waves with the Ikon Allah Boys since his promotion to the main team this season.

His impressive performances have earned him a spot in the Flying Eagles’ squad, and he is eager to take on the challenge.

Mendos has accumulated valuable experience, featuring in 19 league matches and scoring one goal.

His contributions to Niger Tornadoes have not gone unnoticed, and he is now poised to take his talents to the international stage.

As a member of the Flying Eagles, Mendos will team up with fellow Niger Tornadoes player, Sabiu Ibrahim, who has been a regular with the team under coach Aliyu Zubairu.

Together, they will face stiff competition in Group B, where they will battle Morocco, Egypt, and South Africa.

The 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations is scheduled to take place from April 26 to May 18, 2025, in Ivory Coast.
