Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have taken a brief break following their two-match visit of Cote d’Ivoire. Aliyu Zubairu’s squad played two friendly against Cote d’Ivoire last week.

The seven-time African champions trounced their hosts 2-0 in the first friendly before losing by the same scoreline in the second friendly.

The Flying Eagles will reconvene in Abuja on Monday, March 10, for the penultimate leg of their preparation for the U-20 AFCON.

Nigeria will face Egypt, Morocco, and South Africa in Group C. Cote d’Ivoire will host the biannual competition from April 26 to May 18.
