The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has formally welcomed Carloha, the sole dealer and franchise holder of Chery automobiles in Nigeria, as its official automobile partner, marking a huge step forward for Nigerian football.
The strategic partnership, aimed at supporting the development of football in the country, was formalised at a signing ceremony on Wednesday, at Carloha’s head office in Alapere, Lagos.
The event was attended by key figures led by Mallam Shehu Dikko, Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC); Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF); CEO of Carloha, Mr. Liang Long.
Mallam Shehu Dikko complimented the partnership, noting that the NSC is pleased that the NFF and Carloha have entered into this relationship, believing that “it will open more doors for corporate bodies to seek partnerships with sports federations in the country.”
Mr. Liang Long, CEO of Carloha, called the relationship as auspicious, emphasizing the company’s desire to help the Super Eagles qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals as a top priority.
