Super Eagles star, Victor Osimhen will miss the first leg of Galatasaray’s UEFA Europa League playoff matchup with Dutch club, AZ Alkmaar, due to injury.

The star who has recorded 4 goals this season will be available for the rematch at the RAMS Park next week.

Osimhen received his third booking of the season in Galatasaray’s 2-1 loss to Ajax last month.

Manager Okan Buruk is hopeful they can manage without him.

“We have important absences, there are suspended players, I have injured players. We did not come here with a very large squad, but I trust the 11 that will start. I trust our friends who will continue.

“Hopefully, we will try to gain a significant advantage for the second match,” he was quoted by the club’s official website.
