The Pakistan men’s national football team has been officially eliminated from the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 qualifications.

This judgment comes after the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) was suspended by FIFA, depriving it of its membership privileges.

The PFF declared their withdrawal from the event, noting that the national squad will not be able to compete in the final round of the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 Qualifiers.

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has previously warned that if FIFA’s suspension of the PFF is not removed by March 4, the squad will be regarded withdrawn from the competition.

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly agreed to a one-year contract extension with Al Nassr, keeping him at the club until the conclusion of next season.

The 40-year-old has become the face of Saudi teams’ recent wave of aggressive purchases of European football players.
