Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Shooting Stars has announced the signing of Sodiq Ibrahim on a loan deal.

Cyber Reporters reports that the forward joins the Oluyole Warriors from Sunshine Stars, a rival club in the South West.

Ibrahim’s move to Shooting Stars is expected to bolster the team’s attack and the bulky forward has already shown his scoring prowess, registering two goals in the current campaign.

Shooting Stars is currently occupying third position on the NPFL table with 33 points.

The team is pushing for a continental slot, and Ibrahim’s addition is expected to help achieve this goal.

Under the guidance of coach Gbenga Ogunbote, Ibrahim will aim to make an immediate impact and his experience and skillset are expected to complement the team’s existing players.

Ibrahim’s loan deal is until the end of the current season. During this time, he will be expected to play a key role in Shooting Stars’ quest for success.
