Boavista has rejected a €2.5m bid from Trabzonspor for Super Eagles defender, Bruno Onyemaechi.

Cyber Reporters gathered that the offer falls short of Boavista’s valuation of the left-back.

The Portuguese club is seeking offers in the region of €3m for Onyemaechi, indicating that the player is highly valued by the team.

This is not surprising, given Onyemaechi’s impressive form this season.

Onyemaechi, 25, has been a standout performer for Boavista, earning him the club’s December Player of the Month award.

His consistent performances have made him an important player for the team.

The defender initially joined Boavista on loan from Feirense in the 2022/23 season, before making the move permanent the following campaign.

Since then, he has established himself as a key player for the club.

Turkish news outlet Fotomac reports that Trabzonspor’s bid was deemed insufficient by Boavista.

The club’s valuation of Onyemaechi reflects his importance to the team, and it remains to be seen whether Trabzonspor will return with an improved offer.
