Paris court found the brother of France footballer Paul Pogba guilty in a high-profile extortion case and sentenced him to three years in jail with two years suspended on Thursday.

He has also played five times for the Guinea national team since his debut in 2013.
Mathias Pogba will be able to wear an electronic bracelet for the duration of his one-year sentence,instead of going to jail.
Pogba’s brother was also fined 20,000 euros by the court for his involvement in the 2022 attempt to extort 13 million euros ($13.5 million) from Pogba and for pressuring the player, his family, and his business associates to get the money.
