Galatasaray are reportedly making plans for a potential move in the January transfer window to secure the services of Nathan Tella, a Nigerian winger currently playing for Bayer Leverkusen.

Cyber Reporters gathered that the reigning champions of the Super Lig are interested in orchestrating a loan deal for the 24-year-old Nigeria international.

Tella’s journey in European football took a significant step forward when he joined Leverkusen from Southampton last summer, where he played a vital role in the team’s success, contributing to their Bundesliga title victory in his debut season at the BayArena.

Despite this achievement, Tella has faced challenges regarding his playing time in the current season.

Last year, he made a total of 24 league appearances with Die Werkself, the majority of which were as a substitute, limiting his contributions on the pitch.

So far this season, he has appeared in eight matches for the team managed by Xabi Alonso.

Frustration has been building for Tella as he expressed his discontent over the limited opportunities to showcase his skills.

Given his situation, a loan move might provide him with the chance to gain more playing time and further develop his career, making a transfer to Galatasaray an attractive option for both player and club.
