Heartland head coach, Charles Uzor has downplayed the intensity of the upcoming Oriental derby against Rangers, describing it as a “brotherly affair”.

Cyber Reporters reports that the two teams are set to clash in a Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday 13 fixture at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri on Sunday.

Despite acknowledging the tough challenge that lies ahead against the reigning NPFL champions, Uzor is relishing the opportunity to test his team’s mettle.

“The Oriental derby is a special game, but for me, it’s a brotherly affair,” Uzor said in an interview. “Heartland and Rangers are two traditional teams with a rich history, and I expect an interesting game.”

Uzor revealed that his team has been working hard in preparation for the game, knowing that it will be a tough battle against the NPFL champions.
