Newcastle United has emerged as the latest suitor for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.

The Magpies are reportedly planning to make a move for the talented forward at the end of the season.

Osimhen is currently plying his trade on loan at Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray. However, his parent club, Napoli, retains control over his future.

According to reports, Napoli has slapped a hefty price tag of €75 million on Osimhen.

Osimhen’s contract with Napoli runs until the summer of 2026, giving the Italian club substantial leverage in negotiations. The Nigerian striker’s future remains uncertain, with several factors influencing his next move.

Meanwhile, Osimhen is currently on international duty with Nigeria’s national team. He is preparing for crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.

As the summer transfer window approaches, Newcastle United’s interest in Osimhen will likely intensify.

The Magpies will need to navigate Napoli’s demands and other suitors to secure the services of the highly sought-after striker.
