Olateju’s impressive start has attracted interest from English Premier League and Championship clubs, with potential deals looming in the January transfer window.

However, Olateju’s focus extends beyond club football.

According to Olateju, he is determined to break into Nigeria’s U-20 team, following their qualification for the 2025 U-20 AFCON.

The tournament doubles as a qualifying event for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup, Score Nigeria reports.

“I’m eager to represent Nigeria at the highest level,” Olateju expressed. “The Flying Eagles have a great chance of success, and I want to contribute to that.”

Olateju’s loan stint at Malvern Town has yielded instant success, with three goals in his first two games.

He aims to continue this form, stating, “I’m pleased to hit the ground running… I know the division’s level, and I’m hungry for more goals.”

With his international future secured, Olateju is poised to make a significant impact for Nigeria’s youth teams.
