Arsenal midfielder, Declan Rice has expressed frustration with his team’s lack of discipline following William Saliba’s red card in Saturday’s 2-0 Premier League defeat to Bournemouth.

“We’ve shot ourselves in the foot three times in eight games,” Rice said in a post-match interview. We got lucky against Brighton and Manchester City, but Bournemouth capitalized on our mistake.”

Rice praised his teammates’ resilience despite being down to 10 men but emphasized the need to eliminate costly errors.

“I’m proud of the lads for fighting, but our naivety is costly,” he stated. “We must stop making silly mistakes. You want 11 players on the pitch for 90 minutes – that’s what wins football matches.”

The England international stressed the importance of keeping Arsenal’s top players on the pitch.

“You can’t make careless mistakes and expect to win,” Rice added. “We need our best players available at all times.”

Arsenal faces Liverpool next weekend in the Premier League, and Rice’s words serve as a warning for the team to address their disciplinary issues.
